Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains how FLAXX rackets (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you visit this website or join the waitlist. It only covers this website. Please read it carefully.
Who is responsible for your data
FLAXX rackets
Meiboomlaan 2

E-mail: info@flaxx.be
We are the controller of your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What data we collect
When you join the waitlist
When you fill in the waitlist form, we collect:
- your name
- your e-mail address
- the role you choose (for example player, coach or club owner)
- the racket you are interested in
- the fact that you agreed to this privacy policy, and when
You choose to give us this information. Without your name and e-mail address we cannot add you to the waitlist.
When you visit the website
Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data that every browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the website and to keep it secure.
We do not use cookies, advertising pixels or tracking across websites. Fonts and images are served from our own website, so no data is sent to services such as Google Fonts.
Visitor statistics
To see how the website is used, we count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Umami does not use cookies and does not store your IP address or any other data that identifies you. We only see anonymous, combined figures, such as the number of visits, the pages viewed, the referring website, and the type of device, browser and country. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, your visit is not counted.
Why we use your data
- To keep you informed about the FLAXX rackets you showed interest in, for example when they become available. We do this based on your consent.
- To understand who is interested in our rackets, using the role and racket you chose, so we can improve our products and communication. This is part of the same consent.
- To deliver and secure the website, based on our legitimate interest in a working and safe website.
- To understand how the website is used with anonymous visitor statistics, based on our legitimate interest in improving the website.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share your data with
We only share your data with service providers that help us run this website:
- Netlify (Netlify, Inc.), which hosts the website and stores the waitlist submissions on our behalf.
- Umami (Umami Software, Inc.), which provides the anonymous visitor statistics.
These providers may only use your data on our instructions and to provide their service to us. We may also disclose your data when the law requires us to.
International transfers
Netlify and Umami may store and process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. In that case we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, so your data remains protected.
How long we keep your data
We keep your waitlist details until the rackets you are interested in are available and we have informed you, or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first. After that we delete them. Technical data processed by our hosting provider is kept only as long as needed for delivery and security.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict or object to the processing of your data
- receive your data in a common, machine-readable format
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew it
To use any of these rights, or to be removed from the waitlist, send an e-mail to info@flaxx.be. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on your request, and we will respond within the time required by law.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be) or with the supervisory authority in your own country. A list of authorities in the EEA is available from the European Data Protection Board.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy, for example when we add new features to the website. We will publish the updated version on this page and change the date below.
